You have to move the pieces, and bring special pieces to their respective space (key to the lock, candles to their bases, bed on the heart, and special pieces under the wood bases with said wood bases in their original places (that's hard to explain)), everything is explained in every level's animation. I hope you give it another chance !
here's a video of how it opens up and starts for me. nothing is moving except the key on the side when i click and when clicking buttons. i didn't see the level animation you mentioned in a previous comment too. i feel like i'm probably missing something obvious i'm sorry! i just want to play XD
